Tom and Gina Brown started the farm in 2010 with the help of many friends, and have planted over 5,500 trees by hand since. Come pick your own strawberries, peaches, apples and pumpkins, have a draft of cider made from our own apples, and stay to play. Kids under 10 are free.

Tom & Gina Brown
We are both Kansas natives, but we lived for many years outside the US. Tom worked in agriculture development in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and Gina provided health care. We have three adult children that we are very proud of, and we are very thankful to have been blessed with rich lives of creative work and friends from all over the world.
We bought this land in 2010, and it did not have a single fruit tree on it. We have planted, and replanted, over 5,500 peach and apple trees by hand to grow the orchard you see today. We sell what we grow here at the farm and at the Old Town Farm and Art Market in Wichita.
We are truly tree to glass. Other cideries buy some of their juice in; we grow our apples ourselves, right between Rose Hill and Augusta, and crush them here. That makes us Kansas's first hard cidery and an estate cidery, and it takes a full year to make a bottle.

Stay and play
We provide picking buckets, wagons, picnic shelters and tables, bathrooms, a playground, disc golf and games for all ages. We sell snacks, but bringing your own picnic is a great idea too, and so is bringing your dog (on a leash, please).
The store has eight hard ciders on tap and five non-alcoholic drinks, including sparkling apple cider, home-made root beer and ginger beer, plus lemonade slushies in warm weather. Settle your tab at the end of your visit. We take cards, and we prefer cash.
For Teachers
About two hours, tailored to your age group: food, farm life, apples and nature. $14 per child, with one free adult for every five children. Spring and fall fill quickly.
Request a DateFor Groups
Birthday or business parties, family gatherings, schools and universities. We are not set up for weddings: we have no air-conditioned rooms to get ready in, or enough chairs for a crowd that size.
